Functional advantages
The ID-52E is a new generation of feature-rich amateur handheld radios launched by Japan’s ICOM company. It not only has dual-band main and sub displays, built-in GPS to show the current location, SD card recording, Bluetooth, data transfer and USB charging interfaces, but also integrates a waterfall signal display function for the first time, which visually shows the signal strength changing over time within the band. Using the D-STAR amateur repeater system, it can realize digital individual calls, group calls, and group calls within the system range, and realize amateur QSO communication worldwide.
Main features
The ID-52E has a D-STAR repeater (DR) function. It can use terminal mode and access mode to realize cross-regional interconnection and communication of global enthusiasts under the D-STAR system.

Compared with the ID-51E, the ID-52E uses a 2.3-inch color display (51E is 1.7 inches); for the first time, it adds a water ripple signal strength display function; in line with the development of the times, it adds the function of Bluetooth connection voice devices and data terminal devices; in DV digital mode, it can realize image display and mutual transmission functions, which are more in line with the trend and fashion.
